Celebrating Feline Joy with Mofusand × QTea House

Every August 8, International Cat Day reminds us just how much joy, comfort, and silliness our feline friends bring into our lives — from sleepy snuggles to spontaneous zoomies and that irresistible “I-own-this-house” look.

To mark the occasion, we’re celebrating a very special cat-themed collaboration that started… with a curtain. 😺

🏡 It all began at QTea House…

One ordinary visit to Lichfield’s hidden gem, QTea House, turned into a delightful discovery.

As a fellow Hongkonger stepped into the bubble tea café, she was instantly drawn to the Mofusand curtain hanging at the entrance.

The walls? Covered in hand-designed cat-themed wallpaper.

The vibe? Whimsical, warm, and full of feline love.

That moment sparked a conversation — and soon, a collaboration.

🐱 Meet Mofusand: Japan’s Cosplay Cats

Created by Japanese illustrator Juno, Mofusand has become a kawaii icon beloved by cat lovers worldwide.

Its charm?

Fat, round cats… dressed up as sharks, alpacas, lobsters — you name it.

They’re soft, weirdly relatable, and always up to something adorable.

Whether you’re into plushies, stationery or phone accessories, there’s something wonderfully odd and heartwarming about these chonky cosplaying cats.

✨ Limited-Time Collab at QTea

Back in May, we launched a small trial at QTea House — placing five 6” Mofusand plush toys on consignment.

To our surprise, they flew off the shelves!
